EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 1996 Qualifying round

There was a qualifying round held on March 20th-21st.
29 countries were competing to join Norway in the Final, and the top 22 went forward to the contest.
The qualifiers were chosen by the votes of 30 juries (one in each of the participating countries plus one in Norway), with 8 members on each jury.
The jurors listened to an audio cassette of the 29 songs at least 3 times (over 2 days).
